COOKIE POLICY

A small cookie. Your own space.

Meta X Commerce uses an essential cookie to keep each visitor’s saved shopping information separate. The application does not require an account.

Last updated 5 November 2026 · MetaLedger Labs Private Limited

Essential guest-session cookie

In production, the cookie is named __Host-metax_guest. It holds a random token, uses HTTPS-only Secure and HttpOnly attributes, is restricted to this host, and uses SameSite=Lax. The application sets an expiry of 180 days. It contains no name, email address, delivery address, or product list.

A one-way digest of the token links your browser to server-side bag, wishlist, address, and test-order records. Browser JavaScript cannot read the HttpOnly cookie.

Other storage and third-party infrastructure

Comparison selections and recently viewed products are kept in memory for the current page visit. Your day/night theme preference is saved in this browser’s local storage under metax-theme, so it is remembered between visits. It contains only the selected theme. The application has no marketing or advertising cookie and no optional analytics tracker. Hosting and security infrastructure may use necessary technical mechanisms to deliver and protect the service.

Your choice

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Browsing remains available, but saved shopping and checkout features require the essential session cookie. Clearing the cookie does not delete the associated server-side data; use the privacy deletion control first if that is your intention.
